I’m a chemical engineer by profession and I love this discipline a lot. I’m currently working as a process engineer in a large physical refining plant processing vegetable oil such as palm oil, coconut oil and palm kernel oil. The plant capacity is 3000 MT/D and it is definitely one of the biggest plant available. It’s a very fast moving plant and we cannot afford to have any mistake to avoid serious downtime.

In this big plant, there are a lot of vessels and supporting equipments such as heat exchanger, cooling tower, pump, inverter, valves, pipes, boilers and others. I love each moment of the learning process as a process engineer and I want to share my experiences to our juniors. I have created a discussion board so we can discuss and ask technical question about chemical engineering.
