I’m a chemical engineer by profession and I love this discipline a lot. I’m currently working as a process engineer in a large physical refining plant processing vegetable oil such as palm oil, coconut oil and palm kernel oil. The plant capacity is 3000 MT/D and it is definitely one of the biggest plant available. It’s a very fast moving plant and we cannot afford to have any mistake to avoid serious downtime.
In this big plant, there are a lot of vessels and supporting equipments such as heat exchanger
, cooling tower
, pump
, inverter
, valves
, pipes, boilers and others. I love each moment of the learning process as a process engineer and I want to share my experiences
to our juniors. I have created a discussion board
so we can discuss and ask technical question about chemical engineering.

hi,
Thanks for your question. What i’m doing is to refine, bleach and deodorize the crude coconut oil (CCNO) to become RBDCNO. It’s different from the virgin coconut oil. However, if you want me to explain more on the refining process of CCNO, please let me know…. I can explain it further..
